Hydrotherapy Warwickshire is a leading physiotherapy and hydrotherapy service based in Warwickshire, offering specialised hydrotherapy services that facilitate healing and recovery. Our mission is to empower individuals to regain strength, mobility, and overall well-being through the therapeutic benefits of hydrotherapy.
Debbie qualified in physiotherapy in 2004 and now has 20 years experience in the field. Debbie has worked in a variety of specialist areas in this time with the majority of her time in the NHS. Her employment has included inpatient and outpatient orthopaedics, community domiciliary, adults with learning disability and respiratory.
Debbie was lucky enough to spend 9 months of her career in Auckland, New Zealand. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there and learnt from the experiences of working in another country under a different health system.
Debbie has spent the last part of her career concentrating on paediatrics an area that she loves and particularly enjoys working closely with children and their families to help them reach their therapy goals and potential.
Debbie has been involved in running and leading hydrotherapy services from when she was a junior physiotherapist up until managing the paediatric service at University Hospitals Birmingham.
In her spare time she enjoys muddy walks with her family and black Labrador Willow (who had been keen this service was also opened to dogs) and watching her son play football for a local team.
Louise qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Brunel University in London. She is a member of the HCPC, CSP and APCP (association of chartered paediatric
physiotherapists). Her career started at the Queen Elizabeth Teaching Hospital in Birmingham followed by specialising into paediatrics at The Birmingham Children’s Hospital in 2000. There she worked across the breadth of paediatrics including
neurology, rheumatology, hydrotherapy, chronic pain management, and special schools, before specialising into paediatric MSK. She became a leader in their large
MSK outpatient service and became a specialist in managing children and young people (CYP) across all age ranges with all MSK presentations. Alongside this Louise has maintained an interest in adult orthopaedic rehabilitation through work at
the Warwickshire Nuffield Hospital. Here she has provided care for adult patients who have had surgery, including joint replacement surgery, ligament reconstruction
and spinal surgery. Louise is currently the paediatric MSK lead for Oxfordshire community services.
Outside of work Louise is a mother to a very active young person and can often be found watching on the sidelines of various sports. She loves walking her dog Oscar,
and holidaying in Wales with her family.
